It’s only a week until the film adaptation of hit Broadway musical The Prom lands on Netflix, but some lucky few may be able to watch in advance of this as it will also have a limited cinema release from tomorrow (4 December).

The Prom follows four Broadway actors lamenting their days of fame, as they travel to the conservative town of Edgewater, Indiana to help a female student banned from bringing her girlfriend to high school prom.

Directed by Ryan Murphy (Glee) with a screen adaptation by Chad Beguelin and Bob Martin, the film stars James Corden, Ariana DeBose, Keegan-Michael Key, Nicole Kidman, Jo Ellen Pellman, Andrew Rannells, Meryl Streep and Kerry Washington.

Whilst many cinemas remain closed, it is worth checking your local cinema listings Besties, just in case…
