Lee Mack to replace Stephen Fry in the West End production of The Understudy

It has been announced that Lee Mack will replace Stephen Fry in the West End semi-staged production of David Nicholls’ The Understudy.

Fry has had to withdraw from the production due to commitments abroad. The show also features Adelayo Adedayo, Mina Anwar, Emily Atack, Lucy Briggs-Owen, Natalie Casey, Jakes Ferretti, Sasha Frost, Mathew Horne, Maisie Lawrence, James McNicholas, Lizzie Muncey and James Norton.

Produced by Lawrence Batley Theatre, the stage adaptation is written by Henry Filloux-Bennett and directed by Giles Croft,

Taking place at the Palace Theatre next week on 7 & 8 December, the performance will raise funds for Acting For Others.
