‘In The Wings’ returns for a second series

In The Wings

Due to its huge success, In The Wings will return later this summer with another six weekly free-to-view episodes.

Over 40k viewers watched the first season, which featured a series of human-interest interviews and live entertainment from creatives of shows that have been postponed due to Covid-19.

Co-produced by Justin Williams and Henry Brennan (who also act as Designer and Musical Director respectively), Series 2 will be recorded live in strict accordance with social distancing guidelines like before, but this time will be filmed in a West End theatre. You can expect a live band, performances from West End stars, a host of 2020 musical theatre graduates and interviews with creatives from six brand new British musicals.

The programme line-up features: Millennials (Elliot Clay); Plan Bea (by Suzy Davies, Verity Quade, Jessie Reeves, Rosie McElroy, and Deborah Gersohn); The Rise (by Graham Lappin); Terror at the Sweet Shop (by Gavin Brock and Nichola Rivers); The Wicker Husband (by Darren Clark and Rhys Jennings), and You and I (by Cordelia O’Driscoll and Tom Williams).

The cast and airing dates will be announced later this month.

The episodes will be streamed via their Youtube channel here.
