ENCORE MONTHLY’s March-April cover revealed

New magazine celebrating American theatre, Encore Monthly, has revealed its March-April cover, featuring actor Bradley Gibson (The Lion King, A Bronx Tale).

The publication’s second issue will hit mailboxes soon, with print copies available exclusively available in the US by mail subscription and an online package for international readers.

The issue’s cover story takes readers into the wings with photographer Michael Kushner’s The Dressing Room Project, sharing an inside look at Broadway actors’ backstage rituals (including Gibson and others).

Other features include: interviews with some of Broadway’s top composers (Tom Kitt, Jason Robert Brown, Maury Yeston, and more) about what they’ve been working on during the pandemic; a deeply moving personal story from actor and radio personality Christine Pedi; an analysis of Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical’s crowd-sourced success and how social media may be shaping the future of musical theatre; a look at how college theatre programs are pivoting during the COVID era; a roadtrip-inspired survey of famous musical locations that readers can visit; plus much more!

Encore Monthly is currently bi-monthly, however when Broadway reopens, it will move into monthly print releases.
