Bodywork Dance Studio announces new commercial dance course led by industry professionals

It has been announced that the UK’s leading professional commercial dancers will be offering a brand-new training experience this Autumn entitled ‘The Society of Commercial’. 

The intensive 12-week course will teach participants new choreography and techniques, helping them to hone their craft with those taking part receiving expert training in all styles of commercial dance with eight industry professionals including John Graham, Carrie-Annie Ingrouille, Lizzie Gough, Duwane Taylor, Vikki Clark, Sammi Lee Jayne and Cece Nama. 

The training will take place at Bodywork Company Dance Studios in Cambridge, with participants able to benefit from the studio’s industry standard facilities and support. Bodywork Company’s Vice Principal Michael Quinn said: “We’re thrilled to bring this exciting course to Bodywork, offering up-and-coming dancers the chance to learn from acclaimed industry professionals, and get an insight into the industry. We have assembled an incredible team of talent and look forward to discovering and unlocking your potential for commercial dance.”

There are 20 places available on this exclusive course, which comes with the opportunity to gain exposure within the commercial dance community. Applications are now open, with those wanting to take part requires to send a video tape in, including a personal introduction and a commercial dance solo, via WeTransfer to thesociety@bodyworkds.co.uk.
