Previews for the West End transfer of Life of Pi have been confirmed to begin on 14 November 2021, after having been postponed due to the pandemic.

Lolita Chakrabarti’s stage adaptation of the novel and film of the same name will open at London’s Wyndhams Theatre, following its critically acclaimed premiere at Sheffield Theatres in 2019.

To accommodate the production, the Wyndhams Theatre is having to be reconfigured for the first time in its history, with the stalls level being changed to allow the stage to protrude out into the auditorium.

The production is directed by Max Webster, with puppets designed by Gyre and Gimble’s Finn Caldwell, lighting by Tim Lutkin, composition by Andrew Mackay, and sound by Carolyn Downing.
