Remembering BAT OUT OF HELL’s Jim Steinman

Legendary songwriter Jim Steinman has sadly passed away aged 73, it has been reported this evening.

Steinman is best known for writing some of the best power ballads of all time including the Grammy award-winning ‘Falling Into You’ performed by Celine Dion, ‘I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)’ and ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart, to name but a few.

He wrote the book, music, and lyrics for Bat Out of Hell: The Musical, which enjoyed great success in the West End and internationally. A new tour also is expected soon.
