TOP HAT and GYPSY to play The Mill at Sonning as part of 2022-23 season

The Mill at Sonning have revealed their 2022-2023 season of shows, including two musical revivals of Top Hat and Gypsy.

Jonathan O'Boyle's hit production of Top Hat will return from 16 November-30 December with Jonny Labey (Strictly Ballroom) reprising his role as Jerry Travers. Starring alongside him will be Billie Kay as Dale Tremont, Paul Kemble as Horace, Brendan Cull as Bates, Julia Nagle as Madge, and Andy Rees as Beddini.

The production is choreographed by Ashley Nottingham, with set design by Jason Denvir, sound by Chris Whybrow, musical arrangements by Francis Goodhand, musical direction by Chris Poon, and lighting by Nic Farman.

Arthur Laurents, Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim's Gypsy will be revived at the venue next summer from 24 May to 15 July 2023. The production will be directed by Joseph Pitcher, with musical direction by Francis Goodhand. Casting and further members of the creative team are to be announced.

The venue has also confirmed runs of comedic plays, We'll Always Have Paris from 19 January-11 March 2023 , and Hay Fever from 16 March-13 May 2023.
