Summer season announced by ALBANY THEATRE

The Albany Theatre in Coventry have today announced its full summer season, with tickets going on sale today and the schedule including events for the whole family. 

Highlights from July to September include a week-long festival, which will see amateur theatre companies join forces for one-act and full-length plays, workshops with theatre professionals and a conference based around issues of diversity and inclusivity.

The Albany studio will host productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream & Macbeth: A Shakespeare Double Bill by Four Forty Theatre Company and Loop by Tiny Room Theatre. The Russian National Ballet will return to the UK with Swan Lake and Strictly Come Dancing stars Ian Waite and Vincent Simone will perform their show The Ballroom Boys. 

Pulp Friction, the world’s best Quentin Tarantino live tribute band, and Be Bop A Lula provide hits from four rock and roll icons; Linda Nolan, Stephanie Dooley, Niki Evans and Leanne Jones will team up for a girls night out in musical comedy sketch Girls Just Wanna Have Fun; Joe Zalias and his Horrible Stunts for Kids brings interactive family-friendly show to the stage; and Funny Business Theatre Company provides entertainment for little ones with their production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
