SPOTLIGHT ON… The stars of WEBF’s MUSICAL MAYHEM
Besties, there's less than a month to go until we take to the stage for our very first West End production, Musical Mayhem!
We hope you are as excited as we are to see our fabulous stars shine on the stage. Our unique show features the talents of four amazing West End performers, but who are they? We are sure you already know, but if not, here's a little introduction!
Vicki Manser (She/Her)
Vicki trained at Sharp Academy and The Urdang Academy. She is probably best known for Six, having first joined the show in the West End in 2019 as an alternate, and later playing Katherine Howard in the UK tour. Last year, Vicki played Regina in the UK tour of Rock of Ages and has also performed in the UK tour of Beautiful: The Carol King Musical and the West End production of Bat Out Of Hell.
Vicki has been resident choreographer for Sharpe Academy since leaving the company in 2011. She became their artistic director in 2019 and has choreographed many of their shows over the years. As well as her theatre work, Vicki is also known for her country music career, with her debut single hitting number one in the UK iTunes Country Music Chart. During our show, Vicki will be performing her Dream Duet ‘As Long As You're Mine’ from Wicked with one of you lovely audience members!

Matt Bateman (He/Him)
Matt trained at the Royal Academy of Music and has performed in many shows since graduating in 2013. He is currently part of the cast of Pretty Woman the Musical in the West End and has previously performed in The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, The Magician's Elephant and Crazy For You. Matt also occasionally directs and he features on the cast recording of the children’s musical, What The Ladybird Heard. Matt will be performing ‘Suddenly Seymour’ from Little Shop of Horrors with one of you during Musical Mayhem.

Kayla Carter (She/They)
Kayla trained at the Oxford School of Drama and then went on to gain a Master’s Degree at the Royal Academy of Music in 2020. She most recently performed in The Color Purple at Curve and Birmingham Hippodrome, and the UK tour of Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Kayla has also previously played Dorothy in Secret Society of Leading Ladies at the Barn Theatre and performed in RENT at Hope Mill Theatre. In our show, Kayla will be performing ‘I Know Him So Well’ from Chess with their dream duet partner.

Blake Patrick Anderson (He/Him)
Blake trained at Southern Theatre Arts Centre and ArtsEd. In 2022, he was nominated for the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Michael Mell in the original London cast of Be More Chill. His most recent stage work was as Nerd Face in Emojiland in the West End and also previously played Nick Carraway in Gatsby, Mark Cohen in RENT, Woof in Hair and Rusty in the 30th anniversary cast of Starlight Express. As well as the theatre, Blake can also be seen on television, playing Eddie Castile in Vampire Academy. Blake’s Dream Duet with an audience member will be ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’ from We Will Rock You.
