Sheffield Theatres to release Damian’s Pop-Up Panto on demand

Damian's Pop-Up Panto

Sheffield Theatres have released their Christmas production of Damian’s Pop-Up Panto online for audiences to watch nationwide.

The pantomime will also be streamed to children’s hospitals across the UK, in a partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The streamed performance follows the cancellation of live performances due to Sheffield remaining in Tier 3. It will be available to watch until 3 January, with tickets starting at £10 per household.

The show is directed and written by Sheffield Theatres’ regular pantomime producer, Paul Hendy, and stars Damian Williams, Joe Tracini, Gemma Sutton, Lucas Rush and Deborah Tracey.

Sheffield Theatres’ Chief Executive Dan Bates said: “I’m so excited that we’re sharing Damian’s Pop-Up Panto online. We were determined to bring panto joy to Christmas, and I can tell you, with this show the team has excelled themselves – it’s hilarious."

The pantomime will also be made available for free to schools across Sheffield from 4-8 January, in a partnership with Learn Sheffield.
