Remembering Glee’s Naya Rivera

Stars and fans alike have been paying tribute to Glee’s Naya Rivera, whose body was tragically found in California’s Lake Piru this week.

The 33-year old was reported missing after her son was found alone on a rented pontoon during a boating trip last week. Following an extensive search and rescue operation, the police confirmed that a body had been retrieved from the lake and had sadly been identified as Rivera.

The star was best known for playing Santana Lopez in Glee between 2009-2015, where she became one of the first Latina lesbian characters in a mainstream US TV show.

What appears to be a tragic accident has taken one of our much-loved stars far too soon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends, particularly her 4-year old son Josey.
