It feels like its been cancellation after cancellation recently and unfortunately today, it has been announced that the remaining planned performances of Les Miserables:The Staged Concert have been cancelled.

This has been confirmed by Delfont Mackintosh in a statement on Twitter: "Due to the ongoing restrictions to control the spread of coronavirus, performances of Les Misérables: The Staged Concert between February 16 and 28 have regretfully been cancelled."

Although it was hoped February’s dates would be able to go ahead, the current national lockdown has scuppered those plans.

The concert version was able to briefly open in December, prior to being shut due to the tightening of regulations in London.

Cameron Mackintosh has announced, however, that the full West End production hopes to recommence performances at the Sondheim Theatre on 29 May 2021, pending government guidance.
