Rebecca Watson’s LITTLE SCRATCH novel to be adapted for stage
Hampstead Theatre have announced that an adaptation of Rebecca Watson’s debut novel Little Scratch is in the pipeline to take centre stage at Hampstead Downstairs.
Little Scratch is an exhilarating account of a woman consciousness over the course of 24 hours. Offering a narrative on a deceptively ordinary day that slowly unravels to display the rape trauma that is consuming her.
The piece is set to star Moronke Akinola, Eleanor Henderson, Eve Ponsonby and Ragevan Vasan. Direction will be offered by Katie Mitchell and adapted by Miriam Battye. Sound will be provided by Melanie Wilson, lighting by Bethany Gupwell and assistant direction by Grace Cordell.
The show can be seen from 5 November-11 December 2021.
