Producers of MAMMA MIA! working on Cher film biopic

Marking her 75th birthday, legendary artist Cher announced on her Twitter page that a new biopic about her life and career is being developed by Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman - the producers behind the Mamma Mia! film franchise.

Cher herself will co-produce the upcoming film alongside Craymer and Goetzman, with Oscar Award-winning screenwriter Eric Roth penning the screenplay.

The film will be released by Universal Pictures, on a date to be announced.
