HOCUS POCUS 2 to be released on Disney Plus in Autumn 2022 featuring original witches

In exciting news, all three original witches from cult 1993 film Hocus Pocus - Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy - will return for the film’s sequel, premiering exclusively on Disney Plus in Autumn 2022.

Midler plays Winifred Sanderson, with Parker and Najimy as her sisters Sarah and Mary, respectively.

In Hocus Pocus 2, three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters back to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.

The film will begin production this Autumn, directed by Anne Fletcher who takes over from Adam Shankman who is currently filming Disenchanted. However, Shankman remains on board as Executive Producer.
