PRINCE OF EGYPT to temporarily close once more
Hit musical ‘The Prince of Egypt’ has again been forced to close in line with Governments Track and Trace legislation.
Having had to previously cancel performances from 12 July to 20 July due to a positive case and the company having to self-isolate. The show managed to be up and running from 21 July until 28 July when it once more had to announce its closer for a further 10 days.
The show will return on 7 August to a full capacity audience having made the transition on Friday 23 July from socially distanced to full. The theatre which follows stringent and rigorous hygiene procedures, has timed arrivals , increased airflow and masks for those who aren’t medically exempt.
Any ticket holders will be contacted by their sales point and offered an alternative date, a refund or a credit voucher.
With government rulings on self-isolation changing on 16 August for fully vaccinated people, it is hoped for theatre that this will be its final closure.
