PARADISE SQUARE to produce an Original Broadway Cast Recording

It has been announced today that the new Broadway musical Paradise Square will release a cast recording featuring the original Broadway cast and orchestra. With music called "rich, earnest, and emotionally potent" by Daily News, the recording will be released digitally in May and physically this summer.

The cast includes Joaquina Kalukango, Chilina Kennedy, John Dossett, Sidney DuPont, A.J. Shively, Nathaniel Stampley, Gabrielle McClinton, Jacob Fishel, Kevin Dennis, and Matt Bogart.

The show's recording will be produced by Jason Howland, who composed the show's music, and Billy Jay Stein. Along with Howland's composition, the songs feature lyrics by Nathan Tysen and Masi Asare, with additional music inspired by the songs of Stephen Foster by Larry Kirwan. Musical direction, musical supervision, and orchestrations are also by Howland, with arrangements by Howland and Kirwan.

Paradise Square will resume Broadway performances on 19 April at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
