Having been disrupted by the pandemic last year, the UK tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I is set to hit the road once again.

The production was scheduled to play in Bristol, Woking, Southampton and Wimbledon before it was cut short due to the lockdown but in a recent announcement made by the co-founder of Trafalgar Entertainment, Howard Panter, it was announced that the tour will be re-launched.

Directed by Tony Award winning director Bartlett Sher, the lavish musical has a company of over 50 world-class performers and a full-scale orchestra. It features iconic musical numbers including ‘Whistle a Happy Tune’, ‘Getting to Know You’, and ‘Shall We Dance’.

New tour dates and casting are to be announced.
