New Matilda film sends out further casting call for lead role

Lucy Bevan Casting have put out a new casting call for the upcoming Matilda film, directed by Matthew Warchus.

The Working Title production is still looking for a young girl to play the title role in the new film. They are searching for a youngster of any ethnicity, who is “physically small” (4 foot 3 inches or under), have a good singing voice and be nine years old or over by February 2021.

The production team have stressed that anyone who has previously sent in a submission need not re-apply.

If you would like your child to be considered, you must send a recent photo of them, their date of birth, height and where you are based in one email to matildafilmcasting@gmail.com.

No other official casting has been announced yet, although rumours say that Ralph Fiennes will play Miss Trunchbull.

We know for a fact that we have a lot of talented young Besties out there so if you fit the criteria, send send send!
