Musical theatre stars to perform in streamed charity concert A NIGHT FOR MARIE CURIE

A Night for Marie Curie

A host of musical theatre performers will join forces for a streamed concert on 1 & 2 May to raise money for end of life charity, Marie Curie.

Blood Brothers and former Joseph stage manager, Adam Tartaglia, has rounded up current and former cast members to take part in the specially recorded online performances for the charity, who looked after and supported his Auntie Anita who died in February this year.

The 90-minute concert is hosted by Anna Campkin (Dreamboats & Petticoats, Saturday Night Fever) and Matt Jolly (Joseph), and includes over 20 pre-recorded numbers performed by Michael Auger (Collabro), Sam Callahan (X Factor), Linzi Hateley (Joseph) Georgie Lovatt, (Les Miserables), Leah MacRae (River City), Frances Thornburn (River City) and many more.

Tartaglia said: “There will be lots of songs people will recognise. It’s brilliant that everyone across the country can watch, and feel free to dance or sing along as no one can see you.

“Both evenings will be the same concert streamed, so you’ll even be able to watch it again.”

“I wanted to raise funds for Marie Curie because they provided amazing care and support to my Auntie Anita earlier this year. I wanted to give something back to the charity.”

Tickets cost £10 plus transaction fee and are available to purchase here.
