Lawrence Batley Theatre announces summer 2021 season

The Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield has announced it will reopen its doors from 7 June with a new season of both socially distanced and outdoor performances.

Kicking off the season will be Donmar Warehouse’s installation, Blindness, which visits the venue as part of its UK tour. Other highlights include Alan Ayckbourn double bill Farcicals by Dick & Lottie; Charles Court Opera’s Complete Works of Gilbert & Sullivan in 75 minutes; A Dog’s Tale and Atalanta Forever by Mikron; original interactive commission Walk This Play which takes audiences to the streets of Huddersfield; and an all-female version of Macbeth will be performed by The HandleBards.
