Award-winning Mischief Theatre return this summer with comedy improv Movie Night

Award-winning theatre company Mischief have announced the return of their comedy improv show, Mischief Movie Night, coming to an outdoor venue near you this summer!

Confirmed venues and dates include: New Normal Festival (29-30 August), Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre (31 August), Minack Theatre (2-6 September) and Brighton Open Air Theatre (9-10 September), with more dates to be added.

Mischief Movie Night is an improvised movie live on stage! You suggest a genre, location and title and Mischief’s improvisers bring the show to life, complete with rewinds, fast forwards, directors cuts and an entirely improvised live score. Starring them, directed by you, Mischief Movie Night is a guaranteed comedy blockbuster!

 The cast appearing includes Henry Lewis as Not Sure, Bryony Corrigan as Uncertain, Dave Hearn as No Idea, Nancy Zamit as Don’t Know Yet, Henry Shields as Couldn’t Tell You, Harry Kershaw as TBC, Ellie Morris as Who Knows, Jonathan Sayer as ??? Mike Bodie as Guess Who, Niall Ransome as Unknown and Joshua Elliott as We’ll have to see. They will be joined onstage by musicians Yshani Perinpanayagam, Richard Baker, Jordan Clarke and Ed Zanders.

Mischief Theatre said: “Since the pandemic has struck it’s been very difficult to plan any theatre so we’re presenting a piece of theatre that is entirely unplanned… what could possibly go wrong?"
