Channing Tatum to produce new musical film about Lady Macbeth

No stranger to the producer’s chair these days, Channing Tatum is reportedly developing a musical film project with fellow producer Scooter Braun about Lady Macbeth.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be inspired by Shakespeare’s tragedy but will appeal to a younger adult audience with Director John McPhail and script writer SJ Inwards on board.

The plot follows a teenage girl as she grapples with her own morality amid the events that result from her ambition.

Further cast, creatives and a release date are yet to be announced.
