London nightclub hosts weekly musical theatre concerts

Central London nightclub, Circa Embankment, is currently playing host to concerts performed by West End talent.

Established by designer and illusionist Filipe J Carvalho and venue owner Alan Winter, four to six vocalists will appear each Thursday evening from 9-10.30pm, where full social distancing rules/safety measures apply.

The next performance tomorrow night will be hosted by Jordan Simon Pollard and will feature performances from Oscar Balmeseda, Karla Bear, Britt Lenting, Bree Smith, Danielle Steers and Scott Sutcliffe.

Carvalho said: "I believe it's important to show the audience and our colleagues that there is a light at the end of the tunnel... A recurring statement I hear from them is 'OMG, I haven't been nervous in 6 months. I love it!'"
