Kerry Ellis to release autobiography this summer

Kerry Ellis

West End and Broadway leading lady Kerry Ellis will release her autobiography, Bumpkin To Broadway, on 3 August,

The book is “a touching reflection into the career so far of a West End and Broadway star, who first amazed audiences as the first British lead in multi-award winning musical WICKED and has gone onto to perform around the world and partner with an icon in music history.”

Ellis made her West End debut in My Fair Lady before originating the role of Meat in We Will Rock You, and later performing in Les Miserables, Oliver!, Cats and Wicked to name only a few.

Her first album, Anthems, was released in 2010 and was produced by Queen guitarist, Brian May. The pair have toured extensively and released an album as a duo in 2017 entitled Glory Days. May also provides a special foreword for the book.

If you’re a fan of Kerry Ellis or just enjoy live performance, you will love this, Besties!

We can’t wait!
