Julianne Moore joins principal cast of Dear Evan Hansen film

Oscar award-winning actress Julianne Moore will join the principal cast of the upcoming Dear Evan Hansen film.

She will play Evan's mother, Heidi Hansen, and will star alongside (the now confirmed) Ben Platt in the title role, Kaitlyn Dever, Amy Adams, Amandla Stenberg, Danny Pino, Colton Ryan and Nik Dodani.

Moore can most recently be seen in the Sony Pictures Classic dramedy After The Wedding and is best known for her performances in Boogie Nights, An Ideal Husband, The Hours, A Single Man and Still Alice to name a few.

The cast list is certainly shaping up nicely, Besties!
