Rosalie Craig, Sandra Marvin & Jodie Prenger to perform as part of Nottingham Playhouse Unlocked season
Nottingham Playhouse have unveiled their new festival season of both live and streamed performances from 21 October – 7 November.
Their festival, Nottingham Playhouse Unlocked, celebrates being able to reopen their doors once again and will notably see West End stars Rosalie Craig, Sandra Marvin and Jodie Prenger perform at the venue on 6 & 7 November. The concerts will feature songs that made their careers and will be played to both a live audience and streamed to online bookers.
Other highlights include a staged reading of brand new play Rootless Island Baby on 21 October, a world premiere of new play Bubble on 23 & 24 October and Ghost Stories with Mark Gatiss on 30 & 31 October.
The Artistic Director of Nottingham Playhouse, Adam Penfold, said: "Whilst we’ve continued to make work online throughout the pandemic, it’s time to reengage audiences and artists on stage again.
"We’ve curated a programme that combines local theatremakers and our associate companies, alongside household names, including the world premiere of a new James Graham play, providing employment and encouraging audiences back into the venue.
"The festival will be stripped back and simple, top-class talent coming live from the Playhouse stage."
