Jennifer Lopez to reinvent Rodgers & Hammerstein classics in new partnership

A number of Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals and other stage hits will be making their way to the silver screen as part of a new partnership between Skydance Productions, Concord Theatricals and Jennifer Lopez.

Lopez will be a driving force in bringing the classics to the screen and will star in at least one of the adaptations herself.

A modern-day version of Oklahoma! has been confirmed, adapted by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) and Bekah Brunstetter (This Is Us).
