GYPSY to be revived for one-off concert at Alexandra Palace

Iconic musical Gypsy will receive a one-off concert revival at Alexandra Palace on 21 February 2022, it has been announced.

With music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Arthur Laurents, the concert will see seven performers taking on the lead role of Rose, with casting being announced at 12pm tomorrow (1 October).

The piece will feature a 26-piece orchestra, conducted by Alex Parker, with direction by Paul Foster, choreography by Joanna Goodwin, and sound by Paul Smith.
