Full casting announced for ANYONE CAN WHISTLE at Southwark Playhouse
Full casting has been announced for the eagerly anticipated revival of Arthur Laurents' and Stephen Sondheim's 1964 musical Anyone Can Whistle at Southwark Playhouse from 1 April-7 May.
Directed by Matthew Rankcom's production, the political satire stars the previously announced Alex Young as Cora Hoover Hooper, alongside Chrystine Symone as Nurse Fay Apple and Jordan Broatch as J Bowden Hapgood.
Completing the cast are Danny Lane as Comptroller Schub, Samuel Clifford as Treasurer Cooley, Renan Teodoro as Chief of Police Magrueder, Nathan Taylor as Dr Detmold, Kathryn Akin as Mrs Schroeder, Marisha Morgan as Baby Joan, Teddy Hinde as John, Hana Ichijo as June, Shane Convery as George and Jensen Tudtud as Martin.
The show features musical direction by Natalie Pound, with choreography by Lisa Stevens, orchestrations by Charlie Ingles (with original orchestrations by Don Walker), set and costume design by Cory Shipp, and lighting by Alex Musgrave.
