Full cast announced for OEDIPUS in West End starring Mark Strong and Lesley Manville

Full casting has been announced for the West End run of Oedipus, a new adaptation created by Robert Icke after Sophocles, which runs at the Wyndham’s Theatre from 4 October 2024 - 4 January 2025.

Joining the previously announced Mark Strong as Oedipus and Lesley Manville as Jocasta are Samuel Brewer as Teiresias, Michael Gould as Creon, Sara Hazemi as Lichas/Understudy Antigone, Gary McDonald as Driver, Bhasker Patel as Corin, Phia Saban as Antigone, Jordan Scowen as Eteocles, June Watson as Merope, and James Wilbraham as Polyneices, with Jim Creighton (Ensemble/Understudy Oedipus & Creon), Derek Elroy (Ensemble/Understudy Corin, Teiresias & Driver), Celia Nelson (Ensemble/ Understudy Jocasta & Merope) and Jake Rory (Ensemble/Understudy Polyneices, Eteocles & Lichas) completing the cast.

The creative team includes set designer Hildegard Bechtler, costume designer Wojciech Dziedzic, lighting designer Natasha Chivers, sound designer Tom Gibbons, video designer Tal Yarden, and casting director Julia Horan CDG.
