Despite initial rumblings last year that the filmed West End production of Aladdin would arrive on Disney+ in late 2020, it is now expected to land on the streaming platform by the end of Spring 2021, according to The Disinsider.

The cast who can be seen in the filmed performance include Ainsley Melham (Aladdin), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Genie) Isabelle McCalla (Jasmine), Jonathan Freeman (Jafar, also voiced Jafar in the original animated film), Don Darryl Rivera (Iago), Irvine Iqbal (Sultan), Brian Gonzales (Babkak), Brandon O’Neil (Kassim) and Robert Tripolino (Omar).

We are still awaiting an official announcement from Disney but it is hoped this will follow shortly.

We are so excited if it’s true, Besties!
