Concord Theatricals have announced that Everybody's Talking About Jamie: Teen Edition is now available for licensing by amateur school and youth group productions in the UK & Ireland.

The award-winning musical has a book and lyrics by Tom MacRae and music by Dan Gillespie Sells, based on an idea by Jonathan Butterell, inspired by BBC documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16.

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. Jamie is going to be a sensation. Supported by his brilliant, loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies, and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight. Sixteen: the edge of possibility. Time to make your dreams come true.

The new UK tour of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie opens at The Lowry in Salford in September 2023, with tickets available for select touring venues here.
