Disney on search for young performer to star in SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS

Disney have announced that they are searching for a performer to play the young Snow White in their upcoming live-action musical film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The Telsey Office’s casting notice states that they want to cast a 10-year old Latina actor who can speak with a standard American accent. The performer must be able to sing well, with dance experience desirable.

Most recently seen as Maria in Stephen Spielberg’s recent film adaptation of West Side Story, Rachel Zegler will play the title role, with Gal Gadot confirmed to play the Evil Queen. Marc Webb has signed on to direct.

Rehearsals are set to start in London later this month, with filming starting in the UK from March.

As well as songs from the original 1937 animated film, this new live action movie will also feature additional songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
