Charlie Brooks creates online-only drama school for young people

Charlie Brooks

A new online drama school, iampro, has been founded by former Eastenders actress Charlie Brooks.

The exclusively-online platform has been created with the aim of making training more accessible to young performers aged 16-25 who cannot afford traditional courses. Classes include singing, preparing for an audition, commercial dance, script writing, movement and puppetry and directing. There is also a junior platform available for 8-13 year olds.

Operating on a subscription basis from £12.50 per month, iampro gives performers access to 50+ hours of on-demand courses, along with live weekly workshop classes and industry Q&As.

Other features include celebrity masterclasses, casting calls, self-tape challenges and a networking platform.

Brooks has co-founded iampro with her brother Ben Brooks, who is also an actor, and his wife Emma Brooks.
