Casting announced for SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL UK & Ireland tour

Casting has been announced for the UK and Ireland touring production of Sister Act The Musical.

Direct from a London season at the Eventim Apollo, the tour begins in Dublin from 20 September before visiting Birmingham, Leicester, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Plymouth, Norwich, Belfast, Dartford, Llandudno, Woking, Bristol, Leeds, Sheffield, Ipswich, Southampton, Nottingham, Liverpool, Wolverhampton, Canterbury, Newcastle and Oxford with more dates to be announced soon.

TV and musical theatre star Sandra Marvin will play Deloris Van Cartier, alongside Lesley Joseph as Mother Superior, Lizzie Bea as Sister Mary Robert and Clive Rowe as Eddie Souther.

The touring cast also includes Jeremy Secomb, Graham McDuff, Tricia Deighton, Lori Haley Fox, Damian Buhagiar, Tom Hopcroft, Bradley Judge, Tanya Edwards, Catherine Millsom, Anne Smith, Emma Ralston, Jermaine Woods, Michael Ward and Caroline Bateson. Full casting to be announced soon.

Sister Act is directed by Bill Buckhurst, with choreography by Alistair David, set design by Morgan Large, lighting by Tim Mitchell, sound by Tom Marshall and musical supervision by Stephen Brooker.

The musical features original music by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
