Cast announced for Take That movie musical GREATEST DAYS

Casting has been announced for the film adaptation of hit stage musical, The Band.

Titled Greatest Days, the film is directed by Coky Giedroyc, with a screenplay by Tim Firth and choreography by Drew McOnie.

The cast includes BAFTA Award winner Aisling Bea (Doctor Who), Amaka Okafor (The Son), Alice Lowe (Black Mirror), Jayde Adams (Serious Black Jumper), Marc Wootton (Nativity), Lara McDonnell (Belfast), Jessie Mae Alonzo (Little Joe), Nandi Hudson (Army of Thieves), Carragon Guest and Eliza Dobson.

The boy band will be played by newcomers Aaron Bryan, Dalvin Cory, Joshua Jung, Mark Samaras and Mervin Noronha.

Greatest Days follows follows five best friends who have the night of their lives at a concert from their favourite boy band. Twenty-five years later their lives have changed in a myriad of ways as they reunite to reminisce about their past and discover their future.

The film is set for a 2023 release, with filming getting underway this summer.
