The producers of & Juliet have announced in a statement online that the re-opening of the West End show will be delayed until March 2021, due to the ongoing pandemic.

The musical, based on what might have happened if Juliet hadn’t died at the end of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, premiered in Manchester last year before transferring to London’s Shaftesbury Theatre. It features a book by David West Read with music by Max Martin.

Current ticket holders will be contacted by their original point of sale to arrange a ticket transfer or a refund/credit.

The team behind the show continue to work with the Society of London Theatre, government bodies and health organisations to ensure they can re-open in Spring 2021.
