Mike Bartlett’s play Albion will be broadcast as part of the BBC’s Culture in Quarantine initiative later next weekend.

The Almeida’s hit production was directed by the venue’s Artistic Director Rupert Goold and starred award-winner Victoria Hamilton (The Crown) and Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People).

The play, originally staged in 2017 before its revival in February this year, follows a woman who tries to rejuvenate the ruins of a garden in rural England.

Albion will be shown on BBC Four on Sunday 16 August, before being made available on BBC iPlayer.
