ALI musical to play world premiere in Louisville, with additional creative team announced

ALI, a new musical about heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali, will receive its world premiere in Ali’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky in Autumn 2024, it has been announced.

Further creative team members have also been revealed, who will join director and book writer Clint Dyer and choreographer Teddy Abrams. ALI will feature choreography by Rich + Tone Talauega, set design by Anna Fleischle, costumes by Emilio Sosa, lighting by Jen Schriever, video/projections/media Design by Tal Yarden and Gino Ricardo Green, sound effects design by Ben Grant, and casting by Jim Carnahan.

ALI director and book writer, Clint Dyer, said; “I am excited and inspired to be aligned with this incredible group of artists, and we are thrilled that a casting search for the role of Muhammad Ali is underway.”
