2.22 - A GHOST STORY transfers to the Gielgud Theatre for limited 10-week run

It has been announced today that supernatural thriller 2.22 – A Ghost Story will transfer to London’s Gielgud Theatre for a strictly limited run from 4 December 2021-12 February 2022.

Following its box office record breaking run at Noel Coward Theatre, the show will run for a limited 10 week season.

The show, written by Danny Robins, follows Jenny who believes that her new house is haunted and husband Sam who isn’t believing any of it. One night, when hosting a dinner party with old friend Lauren and new partner Ben, they decide to stay up until 2.22 to find out.

Writer Danny Robins said: "I was blown away by the response to the play this summer, both from the critics and our amazing audiences, so I am hugely chuffed to be able to bring the show back so quickly and to this beautiful, historic theatre. Slipping from Autumn into Winter, it feels the perfect time for a ghost story, so I can’t wait to spook a whole load of new audiences at the Gielgud. I’m hoping you’ll laugh, jump, be on the edge of your seat, and then spend the rest of the night talking about whether ghosts exist!”

The show, directed by Matthew Dunster, features set design by Anna Fleischle, costumes by Cindy Lin, lighting by Lucy Carter, sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph Sound and illusions by Chris Fisher.

A new cast is due to be announced shortly and tickets are on sale now here. We gave the show 4 stars so be sure to book up, Besties!
