A new gender swapped version of Tim Firth’s Neville’s Island is set to tour the UK from 10 February 2022, opening at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford.

Sheila’s Island, described as The Office meets Lord of the Flies meets Miranda, will star Sara Crowe, Rina Fatania, Judy Flynn and Abigail Thaw.

It follows four women - Sheila, Denise, Fay and Julie - examining the superficiality of office relationships through honest, wit and vulnerability as the four women find themselves well and truly out of their comfort zones. This new production will be directed by Joanna Read, the director and chief executive of Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.

The show features set and costume design by Liz Cookie, with composition and sound by Jon Nicholls, and lighting by Paul Anderson.
