Caroline Kay’s new musical Daisy is to be workshopped, it has been announced. The musical, which has a book, music and lyrics written by Kay, is set in Dublin and tells the story of a young woman who has to deal with the emotional reality of waking from a coma, having no recollection of her memories and having to rediscover just who she is.

Appearing in the workshop will be Jessica Cervi, Christopher Chung, Hilda Fay, Kay, Jason Manford, Johan Munir, David O'Reilly and Rachel Tucker. The workshop will be directed by Séimí Campbell, with musical direction and orchestrations by Sarah Travis.

Let’s hope this new musical makes it to the stage soon, Besties!
