Directed by Gareth Machin, the cast includes Sam Alexander (The Ghost Train, Royal Exchange Theatre) as William Featherstone, Sherry Baines (Henceforward, Derby Playhouse) as Fiona Foster, Philip Bretherton (As You Like It, God of Carnage, Somewhere in England; Theatr Clwyd) as Frank Foster, Rebecca Cooper (The Miracle, National Theatre) as Mary Featherstone, Haydn Oakley (Anything Goes, Barbican) as Bob Phillips, and Joanna van Kampen (Sweet Love Remembered, Shakespeare’s Globe) as Teresa Phillips.

Artistic Director of Wiltshire Creative Gareth Machin said: “I am thrilled to announce the brilliant cast for How the Other Half Loves which is coming to Salisbury Playhouse this February. I can’t wait to watch these six talented actors bring Ayckbourn’s comedy to life as they explore the complex narratives of matrimonial relationships.”

Three couples. Two dining rooms. One big mess.

The lives of three couples frantically intertwine in this classic Ayckbourn comedy of confusion and chaos. When one of the women arrives home suspiciously late one night, a chain of events unfolds drawing each of the couples ever deeper into hilarious misunderstanding.
