It has been announced today that Steven Spielberg's West Side Story will be released on Disney Plus in most countries on 2 March.

The film has recently been nominated for seven Academy Awards, BAFTAs and numerous other accolades. Among the cast are Ansel Elgort as Tony, Rachel Zegler as Maria, Ariana DeBose as Anita, David Alvarez as Bernardo.

West Side Story features music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents.
