West End Wilma Awards return for the eighth year

It has been announced that the eighth annual West End Wilma Awards will be held on 21 January 2024 at Leicester Square Theatre in London.

Hosted once again by Tim McArthur, this year’s award categories (valid for performances between May 2022 - August 2023) include Best Touring Production (Sponsored by Trafalgar Theatres), Best Cabaret/Solo Performance (Sponsored by Phoenix Arts Club), Best Takeover in A Role, Best Understudy (Sponsored by Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Best West End Ensemble Performer (Sponsored by Overtures Piano Bar), Best Performer in A West End Show, Best Performer In An Off-West End Show (Sponsored by Brixton House), Rising Star (Sponsored by R B Emerson Ltd), Best Off-West End Show (Sponsored by ShowFilmFirst), and Best West End Show (Sponsored by Theatrical Rights Worldwide).

Voting for who you would like to see nominated opens on 15 September and the shortlist will be announced on 20 October.

There are a very limited number of VIP tickets, priced at £49.50, which includes a front row seat, a signed programme (by the performers on the day) and access to watch the exclusive soundcheck before the show.

20% of ticket sales will be donated to Go Live Theatre Projects to help create more accessible theatre.
