West End stars to perform in weekly online concert series during September

A ‘West End Unplugged’ series of charity concerts will be streamed online during September to support several arts charities.

The shows will support technical entertainment charity, Backup, Help Musicians and the Theatre Artists Fund.

Performing a mixture of show tunes and personal favourites across the month will be: David Bedella (& Juliet), Katie Brayben (Girl From The North Country), Cavin Cornwall (Jesus Christ Superstar), Alice Fearn (Come From Away), Richard Fleeshman (Company), Tim Howar (Chess), Aisha Jawando (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), Sandra Marvin (Romantics Anonymous), Mazz Murray (Mamma Mia!), Celinde Schoenmaker (The Phantom of the Opera), Joe Stilgoe (Guys and Dolls) and Hannah Waddingham (Into the Woods).

West End Unplugged producer Bobby Aitken said: "All funds raised on the day will benefit three amazing charities...We feel that between them, these three charities best represent everyone in our theatre family."

The schedule of performers is below:

9th September: Ben Goddard, Aisha Jawando & Mazz Murray

16th September: Alice Fearn, Tim Howar & Sandra Marvin

23rd September: David Bedella, Joe Stilgoe & Hannah Waddingham

30th September: Katie Brayben, Cavin Cornwall, Richard Fleeshman & Celinde Schoenmaker
