West End stars perform on Make A Difference Trust charity single

I Dare You

The Make A Difference (MAD) Trust will be releasing a new charity single next week. The single, which is a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s hit ‘I Dare You’, will feature over 200 performers from the world of theatre, representing every West End musical that was open before the theatres went dark last year.

Appearing on the track and in the video are: Aimie Atkinson, Samantha Barks, Sharon D Clarke, Kerry Ellis, Shaun Escoffery, Shanay Holmes, Francesca Jackson, Cassidy Janson, Aisha Jawando, Tosh Wanogho-Maud, Jamie Muscato, Eva Noblezada, Natalie Pais, Jay Perry, Louise Redknapp, Oliver Tompsett, Faye Tozer, Sally Ann Triplett, Rachel Tucker, Marisha Wallace, and Layton Williams, with a special appeal made by Vanessa Williams.

The single will be released on 16 March with proceeds going directly to theatre professionals in the UK who have been impacted by the continued closure of theatres as a result of the pandemic. It will be produced and mixed by Steve Anderson for 365 Artists, with arrangements by Will Sharma, video design by Bruno Collins and creative direction by David Grewcock.

The track is available to download and stream from next Tuesday, but it is available to pre-save now here.
