West End stars mark Valentine’s Day with star studded concert
Stage stars are gathering together this Valentine’s Day to offer up some much-needed love in a one night only concert at the Lyric Theatre in the West End.
West End Musical Love Songs will be an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza of musical theatre’s greatest – you guessed it – love songs!
From the award winning producers who bought us West End Musical Brunch, West End Musical Drive In and West End Musical Christmas, West End Musical Love Songs will feature stars such as Jon Robyns (currently playing Jean Valjean) and previous Eponine, Shan Ako from Les Miserables.
Wicked stars Emma Hatton and Nikki Bentley, who have both played the iconic role of Elphaba, will take part alongside Six stars Natalie Paris and Jodie Steele (the later fresh off reprising her role as Heather Chandler in Heathers) and Matt Jeans (White Christmas).
Hosting for the evening will be Shanay Holmes, who is currently originating the role of Cindy Breakspeare in Get Up Stand Up.
Holmes said: “We are delighted to announce this special concert under our award winning West End Musical banner. It promises to be the dream date night for fans who want to spend this Valentine with the one they really love… musical theatre!”
Whilst the set list is being kept closely guarded, the show will feature some of the most romantic moments from your favourite musicals. We can only speculate about what will be included but it is expected iconic ballads and duets from Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera and Moulin Rouge will all be included!
